„Education is the key to overcoming poverty.“

This is the reason we are active in Kagadi, a small, ambitious town in the heart of western Uganda.

Our charitable organisation was founded in 1997 with the aim of fighting child poverty in the region of Kagadi through the building, maintenance and further development of an orphanage.

Today, our organisation supports and sends to primary school 64 young children. Beyond this, we aim to enable our graduates to get further education or vocational training through private sponsorships. Ugandahilfe Kagadi gives these children from impoverished backgrounds a chance to break out of the vicious cycle of poverty, unemployment and violence and to take part in the development and rise of Uganda as a country.
